This community was carried over from an earlier site that was demolished — families relocated, and so did we. When we started the learning centre in Bellandur, around 35–40 children were coming regularly. Five mornings a week, the classroom opened. In the evenings, sport gave children another reason to come back.
Come. Play. Learn. Come back tomorrow.
Over the last month, more and more children started joining. Last week, 80 children attended our sessions — and most are continuing to come back.
Our learning centre is a bridge, not a replacement for school. We're working with nearby government schools on a pathway back into formal education for children who are ready.
Growth changes what we need.
When 35–40 children were coming, our existing setup could manage. At around 80, we need to build more capacity so the quality of the programme doesn't fall as participation grows.
More teaching
An additional full-time teacher as the classroom grows.
More learning materials
Books, worksheets, stationery and other materials.
More sport
Coaching and equipment that keep sport accessible alongside the classroom.
More snacks
A simple part of helping children participate consistently.
More space
As the group grows, we'll need another classroom.

Today, Just.Play works across Bellandur, Sarjapur Road and Yemalur. This campaign is focused on Bellandur specifically, where participation has grown rapidly over the last month.
